When everything you own is in its place
There’s nothing left you need to do but smile
Some folk can’t see that life is not a race
It’s all about that certain sense of style
In time you’ll find you’ve tied up all the ends
That all you’ll ever need is near at hand
An artists eye and memories and friends
A poet worth the name must understand
Who needs a house when they still have a home
Or sterile lawns that only stifle dreams
When you’ve arrived you’ve no more need to roam
Is any life as good as this one seems?
