You curl up tight and take a bite
And everything is new
So late at night turn down the light
And know just what to do
A secret vice, take my advice
And never let them know
It’s very nice so don’t think twice
And wallow in the glow
A little rhyme is so sublime
You cannot beat such verse
Your spirits climb, you lose the time
No drug is any worse
Free verse is great, but then you wait
For words that sound the same
So grab your plate, and boldly state
Some rhyme please if you’re game!!!
