What is the night without the kiss of stars
If there’s no moon to grant a thousand dreams
We’re held within a cell of mental bars
Too scared to see if life is all she seems
What can we see without the scattered light
To guide us to the space beyond today
We cannot catch the beauty of the night
Without the strength to find a better way
The day returns with all that we must be
To hold us to a course we did not set
There has to be a night when we’ll break free
To earn the chance to let our hearts forget
I know that life can be much more than this
If I can find the strength to capture bliss
