Each night the twinkling light of love is there
Inside your eyes to tease me to the heart
I see the dreams that we were born to share
And feel that we could never be apart
The stars above are beauty for the world
But greater is the beauty in your eyes
For deep inside your truest thoughts lie curled
Half buried in an avalanche of sighs
I’ve loved your eyes since they first captured me
And held me in a loving filigree
