[Diavlo]

When poetry has tickled you enough,
Her words have whipped a frenzy in your veins,
And if not whips then maybe ropes and chains …
You’re ready for the hot and spicy stuff.

Another verse too sensual to rebuff,
Her voice is low, she breathes into your ear,
And fingertips have made the meaning clear!
You’re ready for the hot and spicy stuff.

She isn’t just a flighty “bit of fluff”,
She’s not “hors d’œuvr” nor insubstantial sweet.
A flavourful sophisticated treat,
You’re ready for the hot and spicy stuff.

When poetry has tickled you enough,
You’re ready for the hot and spicy stuff.
