The moon in mind

Half the moon is shining brightly
More of it appearing nightly
This is nature working rightly
The rest is in my mind
I haven’t smiled since Saturday
But some dust just blew away
I don’t know if I’ll stay this way
It may be in my mind
Some poetry that I’ve just read
Has brought a tickle to my head
I’ll think it over in my bed
Be reading in my mind
But now I think I’ll make some tea
Will anybody drink with me?
Pull up a chair it’s all quite free
Oh DAMN!!!! You’re in my mind!
