The power of dreams

The answers to my life came wrapped in dreams
My mind was freed from worries of the day
Each thought was given space in which to stray
The best could rise above the mists and steams
So while I slept I found I knew the way
To navigate each maze that I had met
I found the words that I would need to say
To make impressions friends would not forget
While sleep repairs your body’s wear and tear
Your inner self can play without regret
Perhaps you’ll find what’s missing from the set
So when you wake what you must do is clear
It’s only in my dreams my thoughts are free
A perfect dream is my reality
