I cannot remember a time
When I didn’t think words were sublime
If it’s beautifully phrased
I’ll never be phased
But ugly expression’s a crime!
The views you express will sound sweeter
If uttered in pluperfect meter
And rhyme if you can
And I’ll think your plan
Will be the next universe beater
Then drive your point home with a pun
So dreadful it’s certain to stun
Make all that you say full
Of language that’s playful
And trust me you’ve already won!
