The problem with cream cakes.

Two cream slices, in a box, half price
And two custard tarts the same
I just had to buy them they looked so nice
No-one could say I’m to blame
My wife had the tarts they’re her favourite cake
Which left the slices for me
A cream slice with tea can’t be called a mistake
I do wish the box had held three!
