A simple spin around the hips
a lovely ring enjoys a ride
Pressure’s printed on their lips
as they attempt to keep the glide
around and ’round and side to side
till to the floor the pleasure slips
Rows and rows of happy girls
Twisting straining staying slim
The plastic hoops performing whirls
With sideways glances shot at him
The fittest trainer in the gym
Who has the choice of pearls
There’s always one who plays the game
And one by one they stop to see
One hula hoop is far too tame
She adds another two or three
To this too subtle devotee
A dozen hoops will spin the same!
