The Sights of Summer

The summer’s here so skirts are getting shorter
And pretty girls are everywhere to see
I’ve always been a tiny skirt supporter
I fantasise they’re wearing them for me!
The sun is warm so tops are getting thinner
They barely hide the treasure underneath
Now everybody knows that I’m a sinner
They’ve noticed that my smile is like a wreath
Each year I wait for days of gorgeous weather
And all the lovely sights they’re sure to bring
The finest things in life have come together
Like summer birds my heart is sure to sing
The winter has its frosts and virgin snow
But I prefer what summer puts on show!
