The sky is pink, the sky is blue
London’s rooftops, what a view!
The sun is setting in the West
Golden light spills on the rest
The sky is blue, the sky is pink
As I gaze out for time to think
Problems to solve inside my head
But I’m staring at beauty around me instead
Sky blue pink the colour’s called
It’s not on a palette or brush installed
The only time it gets into your eye
Is a beautiful evening when you look at the sky
