Why is the sky just boring blue
It could be so much more
I want to pick another hue
What is the colour for
I want to sit and paint the sky
In multicoloured spots
In any case I have to try
To give it polka dots
I’ve bought balloons to set them free
And saw them float away
But afterwards it seemed to me
That blue was fine today
