The Sneeze

The evening sun was beautiful as I walked through the park
And waited for the sun to set and stars to light the dark
The birds were chasing insects and the gentle breezes teased
I thought the World was beautiful until my hooter sneezed!
It wasn’t just a dainty one that needs a dabbing touch
No tissue in the fingers job a sack was not too much
A sneeze to startle walkers with their dogs off fetching balls
A sneeze to scare the headless ghosts from any nearby halls
A sneeze to wreck my happy mood a sneeze more brash than bold
A sneeze, I think, that’s telling me I may have caught a cold!
