I wouldn’t sell your kisses for the wealth of all the world
No man alive has riches like my own
The vault that holds our memories is diamonded and pearled
Each moment that we shared, a precious stone

I wouldn’t swap the life we’ve had for journeys through the stars
We’ve seen the sights explorers only dream
The World my pay in trillions to erect a base on Mars
To you and I how foolish that can seem

I wouldn’t give away my love to any other wife
No beauty Queen is rival to your face
The vows we gave were never chains but bought a lease on life
I couldn’t be in any finer place

The Kings and Queens of History will queue to take a bow
For you and I have ruled a greater state
I won you as a foolish boy and I still hold you now
I also won that lottery called fate.

Author notes
For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings
that then I scorn to change my state with kings.
– William Shakespeare
