Unknown outcome

Each day I find another piece of me
And try to fit it in with all the rest
But there is not a picture I can see
For now the final form is only guessed
I cannot choose which piece to try to fit
Or start out at an end and work my way
I have to work with what the rules permit
This seems a recipe for disarray
And then you came along to show me how
You brought some other pieces of your own
You changed my thoughts of what the gods allow
And showed me I don’t have to work alone
The picture on the box stays out of sight
But in your eyes I see I’ve started right
