The brightest bloom above the desert sands
So tall and strong amid the barren scene
Alone in all the waste this beauty stands
The sight of her can make the worst serene
Without the chance to shine when she was raised
And kept from all the best there was on show
She can now be seen and roundly praised
The time has come for Tory’s star to glow
The battle all around is hard to bear
The prize so far away it isn’t known
There isn’t yet a victory in the air
There’s also no surrender to be shown
Victorious the beauty has to be
And Tory is the beauty that I see
