What am I doing?

Amnesia is a topic, that is hard to write about
I’ve forgotten all the things that I’ve forgotten
It’s not the sort of illness you can shout or brag about
I think that when I had it I felt rotten
It would be very helpful if a helpgroup could be formed
But Amnesiacs Anonymous would be ironic
No-one would remember who they were when they had joined
And the absenteeism rates would be quite chronic
So instead of such a group I will tell you all about
The way it feels when you’ve got amnesia
You simply stand and gasp and look about…
Who am I?
Where am I?
What am I doing?
