What they’ll think of me

Life was rather fun I think
I faced it with a smile and a wink
Every day I did my best
To pass my personal laughter test
I tried while going on my way
To make someone happy every day
And other folk, though far too few
Tried to make me happy too
So looking back upon my life
I hope I didn’t cause much strife
And maybe just a few I’ve met
Hear of my death with some regret
“He wore some waistcoats very odd
But I’m glad I knew that daft old sod!”
