Tonight I’ll dream I’m making love to you
Beneath the velvet blanket of the sky
Your eager lips will teach my soul to fly
While like a butterfly I’ll drink the dew
My dreams will bring back feelings I once knew
But in your arms the pleasures multiply
Together we can find more ways to die
Before I wake and have to bid adieu
One day perhaps I will not have to dream
To know that you are sleeping by my side
The lips will stay when I am wide awake
Reality of love will reign supreme
No further need for me to run and hide
When I am sure that is the step to take
