Which to choose?

Two see the sisters standing back to back
Each one alike and yet they’re not the same
And one of them alone must take the blame
For light and dark each take a different tack
I do not know which one pulled me off track
I only know that I can’t follow two
Do I choose to go with white or black
Which of these routes is sure to lead to you?
Pondering the choice, what should I do?
I just want to find you safe and well
To find a spot where you and I can dwell
That is where I’ll start my life anew
I’ll live with you at night and in the day
As deep in love is where I want to stay
