Whirly-bird

I bought a helicopter and I flew it round the room
My daughter started running when I made my copter zoom
It’s hard to make it hover and to keep it in control
But when you’ve started flying it can rearrange your soul
A Chinook has got two rotors, at the front and at the back
On my model each is doubled in a simple little stack
I think I’ve mastered turning but it’s really tough to stay
Within the space that’s clear enough for helicopter play
I wonder if a big one is as hard to navigate
A hop aboard each morning and commuting would be great
But as I’ve crashed so many times, Oh Damn I’ve crashed again
Perhaps it would be safer if I go to work by train!
