\nThe Limerick’s the poem of choice
\nFor the people who don’t have a voice
\nIn crudeness or art
\nHaute-cuisine or a fart
\nThe Limerick will always rejoice<\/p>\n
There are poets who think they are trite
\nDenigrate them out of pure spite
\nLimericks don’t care
\nWe are all well aware
\nThat these poets can’t win in a fight!<\/p>\n
If you want to deflate a fat cat
\nOr a man in a terrible hat
\nYou can make them look worse
\nWith five lines of verse
\nThere’s nowt they can do about that<\/p>\n
One Limericks never enough
\nAnd stopping at two is quite tough
\nAddiction’s not rare
\nAnd the cure’s never there
