Pleasant pets for a pleasing person

\nI think I’ll have a hippo
\n‘Cause they’re such a lot of fun
\nAnd if I ask it nicely
\nIt may eat up everyone!
\nOr I could have a rhino
\n‘Cause it’s tougher than a tank
\nI’d get it very angry
\nThen point it at Uncle Frank
\nOr maybe just a tiger
\n‘Cause they wear a good disguise
\nAnd I’d let it eat Aunt Agatha
\nShe loves a good surprise
\nOr perhaps a load of Chimpanzees
\n‘Cause they’re just the same as us
\nAnd I’d take them up to town one day
\nTo clear those animals off the bus!
\nI could always take a crocodile
\n‘Cause I like its friendly grin
\nAnd I’d ask around my cousins
\nAnd I’d always let them in…
\nOr maybe I would have the snakes
\n‘Cause they’re friendly, kind and true
\nAnd if you don’t get out my way
\nI’ll set the lot on you!
