\nI find my quiet spot in the middle of the city.
\nSerenity surrounded by the heavy sounds of life.
\nLying on the grass where I can look for girls so pretty,
\nTwenty yards, or miles away, from brutal urban strife.<\/p>\n
Sensual surroundings, for my lunchtime in the city.
\nRough, abrasive London life, is days and days away.
\nSoft green grass, and mighty trees and flower beds so pretty
\nIn a London park where I can let my daydreams play.<\/p>\n
Concrete and steel sterility mark out a modern city.
\nPlacidity and quietness can seem another land.
\nBut in a little square where everything is calm and pretty,
\nRepose is always open to the few who understand.<\/p>\n
If unkind winds and rainfall come to wash across my city
\nThen you’d think my quietude was nowhere to be found.
\nBut there’s a bookshop in High Holborn, and a girl who’s oh so pretty
\nWhere I can read some poetry and think my thoughts profound.<\/p>\n
Tranquility is all inside, even in a busy city,
\nOr any other place you spend your time.
\nJust fill your mind with thoughts that are just calming and so pretty
\nThen let your mind compose for you a peaceful little rhyme.<\/p>\n

\ndoesn’t hurt too much.

\nThe repeated city\/pretty rhyme was deliberate, but I don’t know if I like it. I
\nhad thought to use the “icity” words from the bank, but this seemed to work
