{"id":2419,"date":"2023-11-26T20:31:31","date_gmt":"2023-11-26T20:31:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicewaistcoat.com\/wordpress\/?page_id=2419"},"modified":"2023-11-28T22:47:39","modified_gmt":"2023-11-28T22:47:39","slug":"nirvana","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/nicewaistcoat.com\/wordpress\/n-poems\/nirvana\/","title":{"rendered":"Nirvana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Nirvana<br \/>\nby cricketjeff on February 23, 2008.\u00a0 \u00a9 Jeff Green, All rights reserved<br \/>\nI want to soar like an Eagle from the top of such mountains<br \/>\nand watch the land paint itself in front of me<br \/>\nunrolling a whole life<br \/>\nthe traces of trails<br \/>\nthe patterns of paths<br \/>\nexplosions of colour<br \/>\nin woods and water<br \/>\nbeasts and barrenness<br \/>\nwhere man is not part of the scene<br \/>\njust an interloper<\/p>\n<p>I want to fly high over such mountains<br \/>\nand touch the sky<br \/>\nand see the world paint itself into eternity<br \/>\nwith the greens and the greys and the blues<br \/>\netched by winter&#8217;s white in the gold of the spring sun<br \/>\nwhere morning noon and evening blur into perfection<br \/>\nwhen all is still and night unfolds its canopy<br \/>\nI want to sleep in an eerie<br \/>\nhidden in the vastness of stars<br \/>\nand perfection<\/p>\n<p>And<br \/>\nI<br \/>\nwant<br \/>\nyou.<br \/>\n Author notes<br \/>\nJust writing, drunk on words as usual.
