\nThe richness of the verse is ever growing
\nOr if the writer always works away in prose
\nThen in these conditions they can see it grows<\/p>\n
BUT<\/p>\n
The writer’s greatest fear of all
\nThe Wall
\nThe one thing that you can’t unlock
\nThe Block
\nThe feeling that’s so deep and dank
\nThe Blank<\/p>\n
When your pen is filled with metaphor you cruise
\nThere is always an allusion you can use
\nWhether rhymer blank or free,
\nYou can take this thing from me
\nWhen you have it is there for all to see<\/p>\n
BUT<\/p>\n

\nThe one thing that you can’t unlock
\nThe Block
\nThe feeling that’s so deep and dank

There is nothing worse than staring at a page
\nThat is sitting getting blanker by the age
\nSo take pity on us fools,
\nwho have fallen foul of rules
\nThe worst of us incompetently drools<\/p>\n
