\nA deathless hush descends on Lord’s; the debutante takes guard,
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 then twirls her bat and looks around the field.
\nThe press could not believe it when they handed out the card
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 And Marshall was the name that was revealed.
\nShe isn’t quite the youngest that has ever played the game,
\nThat means she may not have much time to try to make her name.<\/p>\n
An Aussie dragon breathing fire has started on her run,
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 Marie just taps her bat and concentrates.
\nA long hop three feet outside off, she smacks a four for fun,
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 Resumes her stance and silently she waits.
\nThe next ball is defended and she plays the straightest bat,
