\nThe little waves that give our boat its motion
\nAre cousins to the crash of winter’s storms
\nMajestic moods that give life to the ocean
\nCan change the world as every scene transforms<\/p>\n
A silver dawn can tip the waves with magic
\nThe dark of night brings phosphorescent glow
\nYou’d spend your life to study the pelagic
\nAnd never find the end of what’s on show<\/p>\n
While landsmen see the beauty of the mountains
\nAnd country walks will set them at their ease
\nThe merest sight of city centre fountains
\nWill have a sailor dreaming of his seas<\/p>\n
There is no peace away from living waters
\nFor one who’s lost his heart to Neptune’s daughters<\/p>\n
