The mirror of the elves can show the world
\nReflections of the future and the past,
\nStrange images of scenes still tightly furled,
\nThat may not be resolved ’til dice are cast.<\/p>\n
If you should turn aside to change the scene,
\nBeware that what you feared may come to be.
\nYou cannot always know what futures mean
\nOr trust those things the mirror lets you see.<\/p>\n
The wisest see the choices they must make;
\nForewarned they have the time to think things through.
\nWhen paths divide they’ll know the way to take
\nTo find the doom they know they must pursue.<\/p>\n
Have you the wisdom that the elves demand,
\nBefore the mirror acts on your command?<\/p>\n
