\nTo hang herself and take away the shame.
\nAn email claimed she’d got the job through sex;
\nThe man who sent it won’t accept the blame.
\nHe claims that it was just a harmless game,
\nThe man she loved believed that it was true,
\nCalled her a whore and said that they were through.<\/p>\n
Her Mother said a perfect light had failed
\nAnd that her life was also at an end.
\nA dismal fate was thoughtlessly emailed;
\nHe claimed a harmless game of let’s pretend.
\nPerhaps the blame belongs to his best friend,
\nThere never would have been a tragic loss
\nBut then he sent the mail on to his boss.<\/p>\n
The friend denies his actions were at fault;
\nThe girl it seemed had bumped into his car.
\n“The bloody girl was just too slow to halt,
\nI can’t accept my actions went too far,
\nMy brand new car had got an ugly scar!”
\nSo what if now the silly bitch has died,
\nHe didn’t know his friend had simply lied.<\/p>\n
The garage fixed the scratch at tiny cost.
\nThe friends have lost their jobs and moved away.
\nTheir thoughtless words have meant her life is lost,
\nA rather heavy price she had to pay.
\nA thoughtless thing for any fool to say.
\nA scratch can be a simple thing to mend
\nBut words can take away a special friend.<\/p>\n
