On the beach she bathes in moonlight in its soft seductive glare
\n\u00a0 Washed by waves that rolled across the sea from me
\nIn her dreams she sees her lover and his taste is in the air
\n\u00a0 In my dreams on that same beach is where I’ll be<\/p>\n
Every wave that frames her contours is my hand upon her skin
\n\u00a0 Every breath of breeze is just my gentle sigh
\nShe is dreaming we’re together and we’re lost in perfect sin
\n\u00a0 On the beach beneath the moon and midnight sky<\/p>\n
As her clothes are washed by waters that were washing me before
\n\u00a0 Then her shape is now revealed to all the stars
\nAnd I’m dreaming I am with her on her distant moon-washed shore
\n\u00a0 Not at home and tending many mental scars<\/p>\n
As my lips caress her body I can taste the salty tang
\n\u00a0 Of the water of the seas within my dreams
\nThen we join in perfect union like immortal Yin and Yang
\n\u00a0 On the beach amid seductive mists and steams<\/p>\n
When I spoke to her next morning I was not surprised to find
\n\u00a0 That her night had seen her sweetest sleep for years
\nSo I told her of the image that had drifted in my mind
\n\u00a0 As I listened to the happiest of tears<\/p>\n
For when love is shared completely then your dreams are always one
\n\u00a0 And you know that you’re together every night
\nAnd the Moon is always searching for the ways that she brings fun
\n\u00a0 To the lovers who are bathed within her light<\/p>\n
