\nOctober exploding in Autumn’s embrace
\nThe leaves looked amazed and remained quite uncurled
\nThe weather was wearing her best Summer face<\/p>\n
We froze half the summer and drowned for the rest
\nBut now we are basking in sunshine galore
\nIn England you find that the seasons are blessed
\nWith one or two days that you just dreamt before<\/p>\n
I walked out in London and whistled a tune
\nIn warmth I’d expected in August or so
\nAnd now I am looking at just half the moon
\nAs London’s night sky boasts a delicate show<\/p>\n
I won’t count my chickens and go without coat
\nBut if I am lucky tomorrow my bring
\nA day filled with beauty and scenes I can quote
