\nWe met a man who couldn’t pay
\nAnd lent him money anyway
\nThe house he bought was tired and old
\nAnd hardly worth a pile of gold
\nBut we had quotas to be met
\nSo gave him cash without regret<\/p>\n

\nConsolidation loans may mean
\nYou’ve over used the credit scene
\nYour credit’s loaded to the hilt
\nYour house of cards is badly built
\nBut we are paid on bonus schemes
\nAnd all of us have golden dreams<\/p>\n

\nIt’s not our cash but all of yours
\nWe simply spend it without pause
\nWe’re buying things that can’t be sold
\nBut banks like ours will never fold
\nIt’s not a risk the government
\nIs guaranteeing all we’ve lent<\/p>\n

\nIf we sell shares that we don’t own
\nAnd buy them back with cash on loan
\nAnd if they lose then we will win
\nSuch recklessness is not a sin
\nWe could just put it on a horse
\nBut gambling is wrong of course!<\/p>\n

\nThe other guy’s the same as me!
\nHe’s selling things he doesn’t own
\nAnd hasn’t even got on loan!
\nHe meant to buy another lot
\nBut seemingly he just forgot<\/p>\n
