\nBeneath the beech, beside the beach
\nWe watched as dancers whirled
\nThen we went in the ancient inn
\nAnd talked about the world<\/p>\n
We drank some beer, set on a bier
\nWhile chatting to a maid
\nWe came to hear who had been here
\nAs history was made<\/p>\n
Was on the fourth that they set forth
\nTo set about the horde
\nBrought by the guest that they had guessed
\nWas hid behind the hoard<\/p>\n
The stench was vile, they took a vial
\nOf oils that smelled so sweet
\nAnd spent some time to pick some thyme
\nTo share amongst the suite<\/p>\n
No time to mourn that fateful morn
\nThey had to make a march
\nAnd they could see far out to sea
\nThe storms approach that March<\/p>\n
It was their fate to miss the fete
\nThe fight was far away
\nNo chance to peer along the pier
\nA heavy load to weigh<\/p>\n
They came to spar inside the spa
\nThe fight could not be won
\nThey filled the whole of every hole
\nKilled almost every one<\/p>\n
The ants they fought throughout the fort
\nAll seemed to form a queue
\nThey had to die in splats of dye
\nAn ending right on cue<\/p>\n
Back to the bar all bleating baa
\nEach acting like a ewe
\nThis weirdest rite to them seems right
\nBut I’m perplexed, are you?<\/p>\n
