\nWhen morning breaks, a cup of tea
\nIs sure to mend the cracks.
\nNo finer gift can come to me,
\nAt times when thirst attacks.<\/p>\n
If you are down, here’s what to do,
\nYou simply take a cup
\nThat’s filled with tea, you’ll soon feel new,
\nThe perfect pick me up.<\/p>\n
To gain a smile, and lose a frown,
\nYou’ll need a larger mug
\nAnd fill it with the steaming brown,
\nAnd white stuff from a jug.<\/p>\n
On sunny days it cools your soul,
\nIt warms you in the snow.
\nWith tea inside you’ll soon feel whole
\nYou know an inner glow.<\/p>\n
Though alcohol can break the ice
\nAnd win a lady’s hand.
\nA cup of tea is twice as nice
\nI’m sure you understand!<\/p>\n
So sit with me and hold me tight
\nThen we shall hug and kiss.
\nWe’ll drink a mug and say goodnight
