\nJust weened perhaps with everything to learn.
\nShe must have left her mother recently,
\nWithout an older beast to show concern.<\/p>\n
No sentiment will see this deed deferred,
\nWith silent steps she closes on her prey.
\nThe\u00a0 fawn is browsing too far from the herd;
\nThe lioness has cubs to feed today.<\/p>\n
Survival of the fittest is the test
\nThat evolution sets for all to take.
\nIf nature seems to sacrifice the best
\nWe have no right to call it a mistake.<\/p>\n
When you’ve a puma playing in the yard
\nTo love a killer doesn’t seem too hard.<\/p>\n
