The wishing well

\nI found a shiny penny, so I threw it in the well
\nAnd when I heard it make a splash I said this magic spell –
\n“Please wishing well can you arrange
\nTo make today a little strange?”<\/p>\n
I walked along beside the road and saw the strangest sight –
\nA cow was driving in a bus (the fit was rather tight).
\nIt seems the well had granted me
\nMy wish for silly things to see!<\/p>\n
I caught the bus the cow was in, to travel into town,
\nWhere people in the poshest shops were walking upside down!
\nI had to laugh a lady’s dress
\nFell round her ears, and caused distress!<\/p>\n
I stopped to buy a cup of tea, and see what else was odd,
\nThe sandwiches were in a tank, they had a fishing rod
\nThe customers all caught their food;
\nI waited while my tea was brewed.<\/p>\n
The evening came, I travelled home, past ostriches on skis,
\nAnd when I reached the wishing well I thought to whisper, “please,
\nTomorrow when I pay my fee
