“We know what’s right” the leaders say
\n“Your life is like a game of chess
\nWe’ll give you all the moves to play”
\nThe World’s a mess!<\/p>\n
“No don’t do that, but this way’s right
\nWhate’er we ask just answer yes
\nTo doubt our words is impolite”
\nThe World’s a mess!<\/p>\n
“We’ll think your thoughts, you just switch off
\nIt’s all for you we have noblesse”
\n(Excuse me now I need to cough!!!)
\nThe World’s a mess!<\/p>\n
“A little bribe? How very kind
\nI’m sure we’ll soon relieve distress
\nJust vote for me if you don’t mind”

To know the price of everything
\nIs wise when lies all coalesce
\nSo sweetly wrapped with tinselled string
\nThe World’s a mess!<\/p>\n
A cynic or a realist?
\nThey’re synonyms, well more or less
\nIt’s all the rest should be dismissed
\nThe World’s a mess!<\/p>\n
