\nAnd crime will pay for you but not for me
\nJust look as though you own the place
\nAnd stare straight through the owner’s face
\nAnd you can take control of all you see<\/p>\n
If you’re the slickest criminal
\nYour actions seem subliminal
\nAnd somehow people follow all you say
\nJust make your lying bigger still
\nAnd soon enough the figures will
\nObscure what’s really twice as clear as day<\/p>\n
Don’t ever stumble carelessly
\nBut sell your spiel quite airlessly
\nNo-one one will see that two and two aren’t eight
\nA promise of a mad return
\n“That only special people earn”
\nConvinces fools that you are doing great<\/p>\n
They all crave the impossible
\nSo dress yourself in lots of bull
\nAnd money’s sure to flow towards your hand
\nThen if you’ve got it wrong enough
\nAnd kept the act up long enough
\nThe government will back up all you’ve planned<\/p>\n
Now hold on to your pension pot
\nThat’s bigger than the rest have got
\nAnd don’t admit you lied and stole it all
\nThe rest of us will foot the bill
\nAnd you will be there smiling still
\nI wish we’d kept our eyes fixed on your ball!<\/p>\n
