\nA gloomy grey has spread to everything
\nThis winter’s face is looking rather old
\nIt’s time we had a little hint of spring<\/p>\n
A crocus or a snowdrop bursting through
\nThe robins with an early morning song
\nOr any clue that there is something new
\nTo tell me that the year has moved along<\/p>\n
But then tonight the Moon has donned a veil
\nAnd frost has touched the fingers on the trees
\nI love the silver clouds when I exhale
\nThat sparkle as they scatter on the breeze<\/p>\n
The winter has a beauty all its own
