\nI shall visit you this evening, feel my tears flow from your eyes,
\nHear my voice as it re-echoes through the silence of your sighs.
\nFeel the warmth of urgent kisses as my lips are pressed to yours
\nMaking tales to fill the vacuum that the universe abhors.
\nWhere the star-like waters tumble and my memories reside,
\nIn the scents of fresh forgiveness on a golden mountainside,
\nWhere we watched the dippers wading through the flashes of the stream
\nAnd you taught me love was waiting in the shadows of a dream.<\/p>\n
There are eagles high above us and a raven far below,
\nSearching under rocks and boulders in the dying evening’s glow.
\nWalker’s boots sound hard and heavy but we lie there undisturbed,
\nIn a bed of dark green grasses on a bank that’s lightly herbed.
\nFingers touch as daylight’s ending one by one the stars appear;
\nSlowly drawing midnight’s curtains through a sky that’s cold and clear,
\nOver land that turns to velvet, with its streams of bright galloon,
\nWe’ll be lit as bright as daylight in the spotlight of the Moon.
\nIt’s a lake of liquid beauty where perfection procreates,
\nI shall wait for you forever, in this land where nothing waits.<\/p>\n

You will remember that leaping stream
\nwhere sweet aromas rose and trembled,
\nand sometimes a bird, wearing water
\nand slowness, its winter feathers.<\/p>\n
You will remember those gifts from the earth:
\nindelible scents, gold clay,
\nweeds in the thicket and crazy roots,
\nmagical thorns like swords.<\/p>\n
You’ll remember the bouquet you picked,
\nshadows and silent water,
\nbouquet like a foam-covered stone.<\/p>\n
That time was like never, and like always.
\nSo we go there, where nothing is waiting;
