The nature of reality

\nThe real world,
\nthe world inside my head,
\nconfuses me.
\nIt is a world of words
\ntumbling, bumbling, stumbling, fumbling words.
\nThey tickle and tease and want to play
\nall day.
\nIdeas and dreams, thoughts and schemes,
\nwho I am, who I’m not
\nall talking
\nall wanting to be heard.<\/p>\n
There are songs and smiles,
\nlives and laughter.
\nOther people and me
\nand me and me
\nall different
\nall the same.<\/p>\n
The world of make believe,
\nout there where rules apply
\nand lives must come and go,
\nis easy to understand.<\/p>\n
But the real world,
\nmy world,
\nour world,
\nis where the questions grow,
\nwhere answers lie,
\nwhere dreams;<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 there are always dreams
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 beautifully soft,
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 horribly hard,
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 wonderfully weird,<\/p>\n
where dreams are born on the sea of words,
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 those wonderful words
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 that touch me as I need to be touched
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 tease me
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 play with me<\/p>\n
where dreams are what matters. Here I can be me.<\/p>\n
The world of make believe
\nhas disappointments and
\nsadnesses, deaths and
\ndisasters. Loves there die
\nslowly ebbing away or
\nquickly in a blaze of glory<\/p>\n
In the real world
\neverything and everyone
\nlives on
\nloves on
\nIn my world I can touch you
\nfeel you
\nall of you
\nIn the real world.<\/p>\n
