Trying too hard?

\nIt’s easy for your rhyme to go awry
\nAnd why it does remains a mystery
\nAppearances deceive which makes it tough
\nTo make a plan and have it carried through<\/p>\n
I strive to keep my verses error free
\nAs smooth as an ambassador’s soiree
\nEach line subjected to a rhymer’s sieve
\nI take more care than people can believe<\/p>\n
Please tell me if you see a flaw appear
\nA broken rhyme is more than I can bear
\nSo if I can I’ll climb out of the soup
\nThough some I know would take it as a coup<\/p>\n
This is the best that I can do for now
\nAnd if I’ve got it right you’ll let me know<\/p>\n
