“Another thing”, I may have been asleep
\nAnd missed an hour or more of diatribe.
\nBy now the metaphors were getting deep
\nI wondered if she’d let me unsubscribe.<\/p>\n
And what is this? The nagging fades away;
\nShe’s seen the bunch of roses in my hand.
\nIntent on ire, she quite forgot the day
\nAnd now I’ve spoiled the evening she had planned.<\/p>\n
She hardly spoke throughout that special meal,
\nI can’t remember any better deal!<\/p>\n
