The dangers of eating ripe pears

\nThe pear is not an easy fruit to eat
\nThough sweeter than a apple it’s a tease
\nIt seems that from your eyebrows to your feet
\nIt covers you with juice with utmost ease<\/p>\n
When sitting at my desk I felt an urge
\nTo eat the pear that I brought in today
\nOne bite and I experienced a surge
\nOf sticky peary juices on the way<\/p>\n
Now fingers stick each time I try to type
\nMy tie must sport a stain until it’s washed
\nBut I am not a man who’ll sit and gripe
\nI knew before I ate that I’d get sploshed<\/p>\n
Next time I’ll think about the aftermath
