Mary Jane

\nI’m here to tell the tale of Mary Jane,
\nA sister of the cloth who means so well,
\nNo single nun has ever spread more pain
\nOr sent more souls to suffering in Hell.<\/p>\n
It started when she tried to move a bus,
\nWhich blocked the path a wheelchair had to use,
\nShe didn’t think there’d be a dreadful fuss
\nAnd it would be too churlish to refuse.<\/p>\n
Too bad the cliff-top path was on a cliff,
\nToo bad that bus was full of orphaned kids,
\nIt wouldn’t have been half as awful if
\nShe’d done a course on driving out of skids.<\/p>\n
A pregnant Mum with triplets on the way
\nAnd two more sets were playing on the beach;
\nThe bus rained down and smashed them in the spray,
\nIt also killed three grannies just in reach.<\/p>\n
The lifeboat tried to bring a rescue crew
\nBut found some rocks and, sadly, many died.
\nA helicopter crashed and killed a few,
\nBut everybody said “at least they tried”.<\/p>\n
Another chopper circled in the sky,
\nThe last survivors waited on the sand.
\nThough many said they didn’t want to fly
\nThey picked them up to carry them inland.<\/p>\n
The hospital was ready for the flight
\nBut sudden gusts blew everything off course.
\nThe plane and buildings quickly set alight,
\nStill Mary Jane survives and feels remorse!<\/p>\n
