\nWhen the burden is too great,
\nWhen you look to find the answers,
\nThey aren’t written on a slate.
\nThere aren’t reasons you should suffer,
\nThere’s no reason for the pain,
\nLife is sometimes less than perfect,
\nAnd that knowledge is a strain.<\/p>\n
Some may drink because they like it,
\nIt’s a social thing to do,
\nBut it’s never been the answer.
\nIt can’t make more sense of you,
\nLove is not a simple process,
\nLove is not an “A to B”,
\nLove’s a feeling in your water,
\nLove’s between a you and me.<\/p>\n
I don’t know about the outcomes,
\nI can’t see tomorrow’s news,
\nI can’t give you extra credit
\nThat will wipe away the blues
\nBut I know that if you’re trying
\nThen there has to be a chance
\nAnd the simple act of dying
