That&#8217;s odd!<br \/>\nby cricketjeff on May 31, 2010.\u00a0 \u00a9 Jeff Green, All rights reserved<br \/>\nCoincidence is very odd<br \/>\nAnd proof in some mens&#8217;s eyes<br \/>\nThe universe was made by god<br \/>\nAnd many myths and lies<\/p>\n<p>One day I met one hundred men<br \/>\nWho didn&#8217;t share my name<br \/>\nI thought that very odd and then<br \/>\nI wondered who&#8217;s to blame<\/p>\n<p>A friend I used to know in school<br \/>\nDid not work where I do<br \/>\nI understand the usual rule<br \/>\nThis must be something new<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t wear the same striped shirt<br \/>\nAs anyone I met<br \/>\nMy sense of right is badly hurt<br \/>\nI&#8217;m filled up with regret<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve never won the lottery<br \/>\nFor six weeks in a row<br \/>\nOr found the face in pottery<br \/>\nOf somebody I know<\/p>\n<p>I did see lots of girls with bumps<br \/>\nWhen ours were on the way<br \/>\nBut now I see as many chumps<br \/>\nOn every other day<\/p>\n<p>I must admit that now and then<br \/>\nSome things will fall in line<br \/>\nBut then they fall apart again<br \/>\nLife isn&#8217;t by design<\/p>\n<p>Coincidence is very odd<br \/>\nBut what amazes me<br \/>\nIs not that it&#8217;s a common sod<br \/>\nIt is its rarity!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Blimey!
