\nLife’s so confusing there’s far too much choosing
\nAnd not enough ice-cream and cake
\nYou spend your time working and trouble is lurking
\nFor each time you make a mistake<\/p>\n
The mornings come early with fraught hurly-burly
\nWhen you should be sleeping in bed
\nAnd home-time’s too late for the moments you wait for
\nTo have enough time in your head<\/p>\n
At night sleep is tricky it’s hot and it’s sticky
\nIn winter it’s nasty and cold
\nThere’s not enough loving just pushing and shoving
\nSuch effort for not enough gold<\/p>\n
So I stick to dreaming of Moons that are beaming
\nAnd finding you here by my side
\nIt’s not such a bad life if you skip the mad life
\nWhere all of your passions must hide<\/p>\n
Just show me your smiling while we sit here whiling
\nThe hours that are ours on our own
\nAnd I won’t mind living and I’ll start forgiving
